How to add an event to the site

Adding an event to the site is a quick and easy process, we try to list as much live music as possible and submitting your own events will help us make that a reality. After posting your first event it should take no longer than a couple of minutes to add new ones. At this point in time we ask that you do not post regular open mic nights, we plan to build a table displaying were every regular open mic night is held throughout the week.

Summer is here!

After a few weeks of amazing weather it has started to rain again, hopefully it shouldn’t hang around for too long. Forecast for Thursday looks promising. We have been lucky to have some fantastic acts playing recently including Sonic Fusion at the Landmark, James Hollingsworth at The Thatch, Steven Paul Ley at The Chill Bar & The Rivals at The Palladium Club. We don’t always get a chance to make every gig but we have heard good things. If you are interested in posting gig write-ups for the website please let us know.

We have just posted an exclusive release from The Devil Delta Blues Band recorded at The Greatest Blues Show on Earth. The gig raised over £500 for North Devon Hospice and you are still able to donate here. A fantastic effort by all and great evening of entertainment.

Also why not pop down to the Croyde Sandcastle Competition on the 11th of August. As long as the weather holds up it should be a great day out!

You may have noticed a few more Artists that have added their tracks to the site, if you would like your music posted please let us know or fill out the submission form on the music page.

Public beta released!

Today we launch the public beta of our site, after many late nights and hours spent staring at screens this is what we have created. The site is built entirely with WordPress, it wasn’t the obvious choice but we are all really happy with what we have created with this CMS. We have added a service to upload your own tracks and given the ability to register for the site with Facebook. At this point expect to see a few bugs here and there, we are still very busy at work getting it ready for the official launch on 4th July. At this point we greatly appreciate any feedback you have for us, this website is for the musical community of North Devon and your input is very important to us. If you have any suggestions for the feature, would like to get involved or simply spotted an error please drop us a message on our contact page. Soon we will be rolling out some new features, including an instrument/kit for sale service along with some other resources. Also check out our Twitter & Facebook profiles!

We hope you like it!

Become a featured artist!

We are currently looking for fresh local music to feature on the site. Any artist from the area can be featured on the site for free, we will have a listen to your music and if we like what we hear then you become our new featured artist.

We are accepting Soundcloud URLs and MP3s to generate your unique artist profile. While we build the content submission form please send us tracks via the Contact Us page.
